Darlington County Bank has changed its legal name to Dedicated Community Bank. However, as you may have seen on the sign in front of our office, we are now doing business as “DCB, Your Dedicated Community Bank.”

Darlington County Bank has been faithfully serving the individuals and businesses throughout the area since 1986. We decided to change our name and add our new slogan as a way of restating our commitment both to you and our community. In light of today’s economic and banking environment, we also felt it was especially important to choose a name that reminds our customers that they still have a financial partner that is looking out for them.

That being said, I want to emphasize two things. First, throughout our name-change discussions, it was always understood that the initials “DCB” would be part of our new name. This reference to our original name keeps us connected to our Darlington County roots and to the friends and neighbors here who are responsible for our ongoing success.

Second, while our name is different, nothing else about the bank has changed. You will continue to get the same great banking products, personal attention and local service you have always received from folks you have always known.
